The Air New Zealand Kiwis in LA Art Show and Wine Tasting has become one of the largest annual Kiwi events in the United States, and this year’s show introduces new artists and new wineries, along with your favorite Kiwi fare and entertainment.
This year’s show is shaping up as another fantastic showcase of New Zealand art, wine and food. Around 35 Kiwi and Kiwi-connected artists will be showing their work, all of which can be purchased, and you can taste wines from over 10 New Zealand wineries. There will also be Kiwi fare to enjoy, and entertainment by Ngā Anahera Maori, who will be performing traditional Maori songs and dances.
This year the show will be celebrating New Zealand’s national game, as the All Blacks take on the world in the 2019 Rugby World Cup and defend their title as World Champions. We’ll be auctioning off ina silent auction a special All Blacks jersey from the 2017 Lions Tour, signed by all the team members, with proceeds going to the victims of the Christchurch terror attacks of March 15, 2019, and their families (proceeds will be donated to the Christchurch Foundation Fund). Proceeds from sales of Aroha t-shirts at eh show will also be donated to the Christchurch Foundation Fund.
You can also bid for return tickets from Los Angeles to Auckland flying Air New Zealand, with hotel stays included, and don’t forget the chance to win a David Trubridge KOURA light and noho Move chair.
SUGGESTED ENTRY DONATION $10 PER PERSON.
Free Parking. RSVP Required.
But before we tell you more, we need to thank the generosity of our primary sponsor, Air New Zealand, and our other major sponsors, Mainfreight USA, the New Zealand Consulate-General in Los Angeles, and Munchkin. Without their support the show would not be possible.

Favorite Kiwi Fare
And of course, you’ll be able to enjoy some Kiwi fare, including fabulous food from our guest caterer, Salt, along with refreshing Kiwifruit from New Zealand’s own, Zespri. And most popular of all, there’ll be meat pies from (yes, you gotta hand it to them) Bronzed Aussie. We’d like to especially thank our food sponsors who have been incredibly generous. They represent the very best of what New Zealand has to offer, and include Broadleaf Game, NZ Seafoods, Pic’s Peanut Butter, Lewis Road Creamery, Heilala Vanilla, and Three Peaks Manuka Honey. You can taste their wonderful products in the creations of our guest caterer, Salt. Very special thanks to Tangaroa for their amazing support again this year. Tangaroa is the place to be for amazing food and drinks, especially during the Rugby World Cup, where you can watch the game, many of them live.
Top Kiwi Entertainment
Los Angeles-based kapa haka group Nga Anahera Maori will be performing the fearsome haka and also various waiata.
Win a David Trubridge KOURA Light and noho Move Chair
We’ll also be raffling off two very special designer items from leading New Zealand designers, David Trubridge and noho. Just make sure you complete the card you receive at the show reception and get all the stamps from the stations around the gallery. You must be present when we draw the winner to receive the prize.
David Trubridge’s sculptural wooden lighting is a new world mix of old world skills and craftsmanship, sustainability of materials and purity combined with some high-tech genius. All of David’s pieces are immediately evident as to their purpose, but within the seeming economy of material and fluid shapes resides their true functionality. David Trubridge and the generous people at WakaNINE, who bring Trubridge designs into the United States, have donated a KOURA 20″ high light in Natural bamboo with Yellow interior.
noho.co is a bold new New Zealand brand with a mission to create beautiful, innovative home furniture that actually improves the well-being of both people and planet. noho’s Move chair is manufactured in New Zealand from up-cycled waste plastic like discarded fishing nets that have been removed from our oceans. noho Move flexes, bends and flows with you to nurture your body for greater comfort and well-being. noho is designed not just to tread lightly on our earth, but to actually help improve it.
