Where: Santa Monica Art Studios, 3026 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90405
The Air New Zealand Kiwis in LA Art Show and Wine Tasting has become one of the largest annual Kiwi events in the United States, and this year’s show introduces new artists and new wineries, along with your favorite Kiwi fare and entertainment. This year you get to show the world where in Aotearoa you’re from, and see just who lived around the corner.
But before we tell you more, we need to thank the generosity of our primary sponsor, Air New Zealand, and our other major sponsors, Mainfreight USA and the New Zealand Consulate-General in Los Angeles. Without their support the show would not be possible.

Favorite Kiwi Fare
And of course, you’ll be able to enjoy some Kiwi fare, including fabulous food from El Segundo Catering Company and refreshing Kiwifruit from Zespri. And to refresh your palate between the wines, you’ll be able to enjoy one of New Zealand’s premium artesian waters, Waiwera Water. And to keep you going during the night, there’s even some RJ’s Licorice to eat. And most popular of all, there’ll be meat pies from (yes, you gotta hand it to them) Bronzed Aussie.
Top Kiwi Entertainment
Los Angeles-based kapa haka group Nga Anahera Maori will be performing the fearsome haka and also various waiata. You’ll also be able to hear outstanding New Zealand opera singer Marla Kavanaugh and her husband, renowned tenor Daniel Rodriguez.
Wine a David Trubridge Light
We’ll also be raffling off a very special designer light from David Trubridge and the generous people at WakaNINE, who bring Trubridge designs into the United States. Just make sure you complete the card you receive at the show reception and get all the stamps from the stations around the gallery. You must be present when we draw the winner to receive the prize.

The Air New Zealand Kiwis in LA Art Show and Wine Tasting wouldn’t be the success it is without the support of a ton of volunteers. We need people to help on the reception desk, kitchen prep, pouring wine and, of course, cleaning up. Please email info (at) kiwisinla.com if you’re able to help. Thanks.
